It controls, regulates and monitors emigration. It also looks after the interest/welfare of emigrants and processes recruitment demands of Pakistani manpower through licensed Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs) and Direct employment for different manpower importing countries in the world in general, and Middle Eastern countries in particular.
The Pakistan Computer Bureau plays key role in the promotion, development and application of Information Technology in the country and serves as the national focal point for the management and coordination of various programmes relating to computers and Information Technology.
